The 24-hour blood pressure monitoring data from the native curves of the blood pressure records received by cuff-based oscillometry has a lot of potential for additional diagnostic information retrieval.
Here is an incomplete list of possible research subjects: determination of additional hemodynamic parameters based on cuff pressure records (for example, vascular compliance, total peripheral resistance); study of the possibilities of 24-hour blood pressure application in such under-investigated areas as pediatrics, sports medicine, diagnostics of hypotensive conditions, etc. Our data format enables the conversion of 24-hour ABPM files (including oscillometric native curves) into specific formats which may be subsequently assessed by MS Excel, Statistica, Matlab, and other similar tools.
